On October 9 and 10, the “1st Human Chess Match” was held on both campuses, organized by our Library and the Sports Department. This event counted with the active participation of members of the Anahuac Community.
The 1st Human Chess Match is successfully carried out.
This activity aimed to promote the integral development of students, combining learning, physical activity, mental analysis, and socialization, in addition to promoting skills such as analytical capacity and abstraction.
On October 9 at 13:00 hrs. at Campus Norte, the captains Emmanuel Diaz, representing the white pieces, and Salomon Masri, who led the black pieces, faced each other, Emmanuel Diaz being the winner of the match.
On October 10 at 13:00 hrs. at Campus Sur, the captains Andrey Gonzalez representing the black pieces, and Ricardo Lopez who led the white pieces faced each other, where Andrey Gonzalez was the winner.
The match was not only a space for socializing but also an excellent opportunity for the students to strengthen these valuable skills.
