Anáhuac Business Forum 2025: Alliances for Development

Anahuac Business Forum 2025: Alliances for Development

This event strengthens the relationship between the university and the production sector, consolidating strategic alliances that impact the development of talent in the country.

Anahuac Mexico University held the 8th Anahuac Business Forum 2025, an event that reaffirms the importance of collaboration between academia and the production sector as an engine of growth for the country. With the participation of CEOs, executives and members of the main companies and business organizations in Mexico, this event allowed us to strengthen links for the benefit of the Anahuac Community, who find opportunities for professional development in these alliances.

The event was led by the Rector of Anáhuac Mexico University, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., and the president of the Association of Banks of Mexico, Julio Carranza Bolívar, who gave the presentation “The positive impact of collaboration between companies and universities for the benefit of Mexico”.

Carranza emphasized Mexico's strategic advantage as a young country, with a population of working age that can boost global competitiveness. “In the United States and Canada, the population is aging; in Mexico, we are still a country of young people and therein lies our great opportunity. We must prepare our people, provide them with education and values because that is what will allow us to build a solid future,” he said. He also emphasized the key role of the banking sector in this process, offering financing for production projects and support for small and medium-sized businesses, which generate the majority of the jobs in the country.

Anáhuac Mexico University has strengthened its business collaboration model through various strategies. It currently has 200 Corporate Chairs with leading companies in Mexico and abroad, 40 funded Research Chairs and more than 35 collaboration agreements with chambers of commerce and business organizations. Furthermore, it organizes six recruitment fairs and more than 120 employability initiatives every year, benefiting more than 5,000 students and graduates.

During 2024, the most commonly used forms of alliance in the University's collaboration ecosystem were professional internships, social service, visits to businesses, academic projects and participation in university competitions. These initiatives reflect Anahuac’s commitment to the integral training of its students and their insertion into the professional environment.

The event was also the setting for recognizing the most outstanding companies in three fundamental categories:

During his speech, he highlighted the fact that Anáhuac University works on innovative projects such as the Virtual Hospital and Anáhuac LABS, in collaboration with leading companies. He also mentioned the importance of adapting to changes in the labor market, where technology and human skills will play a crucial role.
