Bioethical dilemmas of medical voluntary termination of pregnancy by teleconsultation. Comparative analysis between France and Italy
Abstract
Among several substantial changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, teleconsultation in the medical field - although it had existed for some time - has become a more common practice. This new medical approach is now used for medical voluntary termination of pregnancy, especially in some developed countries. The aim of this article is to provide a comparative analysis of this practice in France and Italy in order to identify the various bioethical issues involved.
