Exchange and Study Abroad opportunities for incoming students

Will the Anahuac University in Mexico City help me with the visa application process?

No, unfortunately. The visa application process is personal and non-transferable, and therefore, only the applicant can request it. For this purpose, the Anahuac University in Mexico City will provide you an official Acceptance Letter that the Consulate of Mexico in your country will request as part of your visa application process.
Bear in mind that not all countries or stays require a visa to come to our country. For more information, please visit the following links (in Spanish):

Can I study at the Anahuac University in Mexico City if I don’t speak Spanish?

The Anahuac University in Mexico City requests at least a B2 level of Spanish for you to make the most of our classes offered in Spanish. If your Spanish level is lower than this, please contact the Coordinator for Inbound Students: denisse.gallegos@anahuac.mx to assess your case, suggest you options so you do not miss out the experience of being at the Anahuac University in Mexico City. For instance, you could take subjects delivered in English language + the Spanish classes we offer.
Get ready over the term before your exchange or study abroad program and take the Spanish language course that better fits your needs. We will help you ease your adjustment to the language, as during your exchange or study abroad stay you will get free and compulsory Spanish language classes.

If you are an undergraduate student coming for an exchange or study abroad experience, you can stay for up to one year, regardless if you requested if since the beginning of your stay or if you came for one term and later on decided to extend it.

How do I request an extension for my exchange or study abroad stay?

Aware of the environmental impact of hard copies, the Office for Internationalization will email your grades to your home university and cc you once the evaluation processes are over. This is about 3 weeks after you have completed you stay.
If you need a hard copy, don't worry! Just request it before you go back to your country. In case you go back before the evaluation processes are over, we’ll send it to your home university free of charge. You just have to send the mailing address to denisse.gallegos@anahuac.mx  You can also request a translation into English free of charge.

What is the University grading scale?

From 0 (zero) to 10, where the passing grade is 6.0.

Remember this is the official communication means for University matters.
