José Alberto Castilla, new deputy director of the School of Bioethics

We warmly welcome him to his new home and wish him all the success in the world in his new role within the University.

As of July 2023, Dr. José Alberto Castilla Barajas joins the School of Bioethics as deputy director, replacing Juan Manuel Palomares, who will serve as coordinator of the Ethics subject in the Academic Directorate of Training Comprehensive (DAFI).

After his appointment, Dr. Castilla assured that he will do his best to make the Faculty of Bioethics a national and international benchmark that promotes interdisciplinary dialogue: "To be a School that courageously and clearly promotes a joint dialogue, in addition to being generators of research interdisciplinary with the ability to recognize our objective in the social impact”.
