The Opening Ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year was held

The Start Ceremony of the 2023-2024 Academic Year was held. Previously, a mass was celebrated, officiated by Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García L.C., rector of the University, who in his homily spoke about the day of San Lorenzo, deacon and martyr. In addition, there was talk about honesty, sympathy and lending.

The ceremony took place at the Ángel y Tere Losada Theater and at 10:20 on August 10, 2023, Dr. Cipriano declared the solemn opening session of the 2023-2024 academic year open. This ceremony was attended by the directors of the schools of the university, the members of the rectory committee and other members of the university community.

Later, the new vice-rector of the university, Dr. José Rodrigo Pozón, was introduced and welcomed, who was presented with the medal as a member of the rectory committee of the Anahuac University.

The Inaugural Lecture was given by Fernanda Elena Guarro Hernández, a graduate in business administration from the Universidad Anahuac México, a master in supply chain management from the EOI of Madrid, Spain, she is an executive in supply chain with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of supply chain, as well as project management and business analysis. She currently serves as president and general director of 3M Mexico. In her speech, she reminded us of the importance of living our university's motto, defeating evil with good.

Finally, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García dedicated a few words to us, after which the 2023-22024 academic year was declared inaugurated, concluding the session and wishing everyone the best of luck and success.
