The journal Medicine and Ethics of the Faculty of Bioethics has been indexed in the Sherpa Romeo database, which houses periodic and peer-reviewed scientific publications of high quality standards and brings together rigorously evaluated international publications.
The indexing of our journal constitutes a very important step to be able to access, in the near future, more databases and thereby achieve to position our journal as one of quality and reliable scientific rigor and with policies that safeguard ethical principles for editors and authors.
This great step has also been taken thanks to the support of the publications area of our University, specifically thanks to Lic. Adriana Sánchez and Mtra. Alma Cázeres.
Similarly, having authors with a long professional career such as those who write in our journal has contributed to raising the quality of the advancement of knowledge that the published articles denote.
Our goal is to get our journal indexed in more databases, something we hope to be able to do in the coming months.
