The School of Bioethics welcomes Maroun Badr as an associate researcher

With this addition, the School strengthens its interdisciplinary and global approach to bioethical research, reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement and academic training.

 

The School of Bioethics of the Universidad Anáhuac México welcomes Maroun Badr, a prominent academic who joins as an Associate Researcher, reinforcing the School's commitment to high-quality research on bioethical issues.

 

Originally from Lebanon and resident in France since 2014, Badr has an academic and professional career in the field of bioethics, theology and social sciences. He completed a Master's degree in Human and Social Sciences with a specialization in Moral Theology at the University of Lorraine-Metz in France and a Doctorate in Bioethics from our sister university, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.

 

His research focuses on sustainable development and family planning, always interested in the defense of nascent life, biolaw, natural law, the dignity of women and health, gender equality and sexuality education.

 

The researcher is a polyglot, fluent in Arabic, French, English and Italian, and has teaching experience in bioethics, Trinitarian theology, moral theology and music. He has participated in international conferences and published two books, as well as numerous articles in scientific bioethics journals.

 

With his incorporation, the School of Bioethics reinforces its commitment to the development of high-quality research that addresses current ethical challenges from an interdisciplinary and global perspective.
