We are proud to share that our esteemed alumnus, Francis Jude Selvaraj, participated as a speaker at the 13th International Conference on Ethics Education, organized by the International Association for Ethics Education (IAEE), held from June 12 to 14, 2025, at St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences, in Bangalore, India.
This high-level event brought together thought leaders, educators, and professionals to reflect on contemporary ethical challenges. Under the theme "Ethics Education: An Imperative for Future Generations," the conference addressed a variety of topics aimed at inspiring innovative approaches to teaching ethics and educating future generations with integrity and critical thinking.
Jude presented in the Religion, Morality and Ethics session with a compelling contribution titled, “Should AI Algorithms Be Shaped by Religious or Ethical Standards: The Malaysian Catholic Youth Experience.” His presentation sparked great interest and discussion, marking a notable success for both Jude and the values upheld by our Bioethics School.
During the conference, Jude had the opportunity to meet Prof. Henk ten Have, Chair of the Conference and Professor of the Master’s in Global Bioethics program—further strengthening the connection between our alumni and the global bioethics community.
We celebrate Jude’s outstanding representation of the Anáhuac University Bioethics School and his continued commitment to bringing ethical reflection into current global challenges.
