Dr. Alberto García was also awarded the Order of Congress in the grade of Knight.
Dr. Alberto García Gómez, associate professor, and researcher of our Faculty has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Bioethics of the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Athenaeum (UPRA), in Rome, Italy.
In addition, on March 29, 2022 in the City of Rome (Italy), Dr. García Gómez was decorated with the Order of the Colombian Congress with the rank of Knight. This distinction was given to him in the Special Ceremony by the Ambassador of Colombia to the Holy See Jorge Mario Eastman Robledo.
Dr. Alberto García Gómez is a professor of the Master in Global Bioethics and the Master of Bioethics online, as well as an associate researcher at the Faculty of Bioethics of the Universidad Anáhuac. In addition, he is director of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights, established at the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum and at the European University of Rome.
