Dr. José Alberto Castilla visited the headquarters of this Roman university with the aim of establishing possible collaboration agreements between both academic institutions.
During the month of July 2024, Dr. José Alberto Castilla Barajas, director of the School of Bioethics of the Universidad Anáhuac México, made an official visit to the Lumsa University, a Roman Catholic institution that is distinguished for promoting and supporting interdisciplinary research in various fields, to start a dialogue that enhances Bioethics at a global level.
During his stay, Dr. Castilla held a meeting with Dr. Laura Palazzani, expert in Bioethics and head of the Lumsa Bioethics Center, during which they exchanged ideas and projects on possible collaboration agreements between both academic institutions, with the aim of fostering closer integration and cooperation in the field of Bioethicsand explored how they can work together to strengthen their programs and activities in this discipline.
This visit undoubtedly marked a significant step towards possible deeper collaboration, as both sides were enthusiastic about future opportunities.
It should be noted that in the month of September of this same year, a new contact between the universities is planned to advance in the formalization of this integration and define the specific terms of the cooperation agreements, an approach that not only promises to enrich the educational offer of both institutions, but to contribute to the development of Bioethics in the world.
