A strategic collaboration was formalized between both institutions that will include research stays and adaptation of specialized courses for medical and postgraduate students.
On August 21, 2024, at the facilities of the Universidad Anáhuac México, the School of Bioethics and the MELISA Institute of Chile held a meeting to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration in the field of bioethics, a meeting that marked the beginning of a strategic alliance that promises to enrich training and research at both institutions.
During the meeting, the implementation of research stays for students of the Doctorate in Bioethics of the Universidad Anáhuac México at MELISA Institute was discussed, an agreement that will favor the exchange of knowledge and immersion in advanced research projects in bioethics. In addition, the adaptation of specialized courses for medical and postgraduate students of our University was addressed.
It is expected that these courses will be adjusted to incorporate approaches and methodologies developed at MELISA Institute, with the aim of offering more comprehensive and updated training in bioethics to students of the Mexican university.
Representatives of both institutions expressed their enthusiasm for the agreements reached and highlighted the importance of this collaboration to advance the study and practice of bioethics at an international level. The partnership between the School of Bioethics and the MELISA Institute of Chile promises to be a model of academic cooperation that will benefit both researchers and students at both institutions.
This agreement opens new opportunities for research and education in bioethics, strengthening the commitment to academic excellence and the training of highly trained professionals in this crucial field.
