Educar en contingencia

Ante el proceso de expansión del COVID-19 en nuestro país, en marzo de 2020 se suspendieron las clases presenciales y se implementó el programa Aprende en Casa como una estrategia para mantener, a distancia, los servicios educativos durante la emergencia sanitaria. En este contexto se llevó a cabo el proyecto de investigación Educar en contingencia.

El arte como denuncia social

El artículo titulado “El arte y diseño mexicano como reflexión y denuncia social ante la migración. Entrevista a Betsabeé Romero, 2019”, surgió a partir de la invitación que me realizó la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Palmira, a participar en el séptimo Foro internacional del Diseño como Proceso.

Surveillance system for acute severe infections with epidemic potential based on a deterministic-stochastic model, the StochCum Method

Abstract

Background: The dynamic interactions of severe infectious diseases with epidemic potential and their hosts are complex. Therefore, it remains uncertain if a sporadic zoonosis restricted to a certain area will become a global pandemic or something in between.

Objective: The objective of the study was to present a surveillance system for acute severe infections with epidemic potential based on a deterministic-stochastic model, the StochCum Method.

Modification of Gut Microbiota in Inflammatory Arthritis: Highlights and Future Challenges

Abstract

Purpose of Review. This Review evaluates the available information on the modification of the microbiota by diet, prebiotics, probiotics, or drugs and its association with the severity of arthritis in animals and humans and highlights how this modulation could have therapeutic applications in RA.
