Anáhuac University Network: Living the Jubilee 2025 with Faith and Community

At the Anáhuac University Network, we reaffirm with joy and deep conviction our Catholic identity as we join in the celebration of Jubilee 2025 , a special moment of reflection, spiritual renewal and communion. This Jubilee, proclaimed by Pope Francis under the motto "Pilgrims of Hope" , invites the entire Catholic community to deepen their faith and rediscover the love of God in every aspect of their lives.

During the Jubilee 2025, the Anáhuac University Network joins the celebration with various activities on each of its campuses that will promote dialogue, faith and social commitment, thus strengthening the sense of community and hope among all its members.

An example of this was the mass held on January 30 in the university chapel of the Anáhuac University México North campus. Concelebrated by the priests, Fr. Alfonso López, LC, Fr. Gaspar Guevara, LC, and Fr. Lucas Tenier, LC, and the homily was given by the Rector of the university, Fr. Cipriano Sánchez García, LC.

What is Jubilee 2025?

The Jubilee is a thousand-year-old tradition in the Catholic Church that dates back to the year 1300. It is celebrated every 25 years as a time of reconciliation, plenary indulgence and spiritual renewal. Pope Francis has invited the faithful around the world to live this Jubilee as a time to strengthen hope and promote reconciliation with God, with themselves and with others.

In the context of our universities, Jubilee 2025 represents a unique opportunity to deepen our mission of training leaders with a human sense, capable of transforming society.
