Welcome to University Life: a purposeful start, we are Anáhuac class of 2026
Anáhuac México University welcomed more than 550 new students in an experience designed to promote their integration, development and leadership from day one.
On January 8 and 9, 2026, Anáhuac México University welcomed more than 550 new students as part of the 2026 Welcome to University Life (BIU) program, a formative experience that marks the start of university life.
For two days, the new Anáhuac Lions toured the campuses, met with administrators, mentors and classmates, and participated in activities designed to strengthen their sense of belonging and promote their academic, personal and professional growth.
What is the BIU?
The Welcome to University Life program is much more than just an orientation event. It is an experience that seeks to facilitate adaptation to university life, provide tools for academic success and connect students with the university community.
The program includes:
• Presentations of schools and faculties.
• Information about student life and the university ombudsman.
• Cultural activities (such as the participation of the Anáhuac Dance Company).
• Key processes such as course registration, diagnostic assessments and access to academic support services.
• Opportunities to learn about initiatives such as FESAL, the University Life Fair and Student Societies.

Message from the rector: building a life Project
The event, held on the North and South campuses, featured a welcome message from our rector, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., who gave a motivational speech to the new students:
“We want to build a project with you and to do so, know that you will not be alone. You will be accompanied by great teachers, great directors and invaluable men and women who will be by your side to help you become great leaders and better individuals.”
This approach reflects our university's commitment to an integral education and to training leaders who take positive action.
The Student Relations Department, together with FESAL and the Student Societies, led the organization of the event. Teachers Fernanda Alviso Figueroa and María Fernanda Bravo Córdova were in charge of the activities on both campuses, ensuring a warm, structured and educational experience for all participants.
With the BIU, Anáhuac Mexico University reaffirms its commitment to supporting each student from day one. This class of 2026 is embarking on a journey that goes beyond the classroom: it is a stage for forming values, building leadership and transforming their environment.
Welcome to the best university community!
