Anáhuac Lions win 90 medals at the 2025 National University Games

With 280 representatives, Anáhuac Mexico has solidified its standing as one of the best universities in the country. This achievement is celebrated with pride and commitment by the university community.
 

The Anáhuac community proudly celebrates its Lions' triumph in the 2025 National University Games. The event was organized by the National Council of Sports in Education (CONDDE) and took place from May 27 to June 10 at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). More than 10,000 athletes from over 200 institutions competed in over 25 sports.

With 280 representatives competing in various disciplines, our Anáhuac Mexico Lions won a total of 90 medals: 41 gold, 30 silver and 19 bronze. This result positions our institution among the most outstanding in the country in the field of university sports.

The North Campus competed in the following sports: chess, athletics, women's basketball (5x5 and 3x3), men's basketball (3x3), baseball, sport climbing, fencing, eSports, men's soccer, judo, golf, karate, swimming, paddle tennis, softball, taekwondo, table tennis, triathlon, beach volleyball, and men's indoor volleyball.

Meanwhile, the South Campus participated in the following sports: chess, athletics, badminton, men's 5x5 and 3x3 basketball (in both categories), fencing, women's soccer, swimming, paddle tennis, rugby, softball, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, triathlon, and men's fast soccer.

Notable achievements include gold medals in athletics, judo, taekwondo, eSports, karate, and triathlon. These awards reflect the perseverance, dedication, and discipline of the 280 athletes who proudly represented our university.

This result reflects Anáhuac Mexico University's commitment to providing comprehensive training for leaders who excel both on and off the field. This victory belongs to the entire community, including the coaches, families, and students who support every effort.
