Anahuac Pride: Achievements that mark and inspire excellence

On the occasion of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Anahuac University, Logros magazine offers a journey through the highlights of the Institution during the first semester of 2024.

It is impossible not to feel pride and emotion when opening the pages of Logros magazine. This issue commemorates six decades of a trajectory marked by academic excellence, innovation and a firm vocation to educate leaders committed to the positive transformation of society.

The celebration of the university's 60th anniversary has been a milestone for the Anahuac community. With events ranging from international congresses to concerts and cultural activities, this commemoration became a space to reflect on the road traveled and the challenges ahead.

One of the most memorable moments of this anniversary was the solemn commemorative mass, an event that not only celebrated the history of the Institution but also renewed the University's commitment to its founding values. The mass, presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Carlos Aguiar Retes, was a reminder of the fundamental role that the Anahuac plays in building a more just and caring society.

In addition, Anahuac Mexico University hosted the General Assembly of the Federation of Mexican Private Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES), an event of great importance that brought together the rectors and directors of the country's leading universities. Held in the framework of the 60th anniversary of the University, this assembly served as a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing higher education in Mexico, reaffirming the University's commitment to quality and educational innovation.

Another highlight was the Annual Assembly of the Mexican Association of Christian-Inspired Higher Education Institutions (AMIESIC). This meeting brought together educational leaders to reflect on the importance of education based on Christian values and its impact on society.

The 60th anniversary was also an opportunity for the Anahuac to showcase its advances in innovation and technology. This semester saw the laying of the foundation stone for Anahuac LABS, a cluster of high-tech laboratories designed to train engineers to meet the challenges of the future. This ambitious project clearly reflects the University's commitment to developing skills in its students that will enable them to lead in an increasingly complex and technological world.

Finally, Logros reminds us that the success of Anahuac Mexico University is only possible with our students, alums, professors and benefactors. An emotional memorial concert for the graduates, led by the Matute Tribute Band, was one of the most moving events of the celebration, reliving unforgettable moments of university life.
