A group of BA Fashion, Innovation, and Trends students of the Universidad Anahuac Mexico and Queretaro had an academic trip to Milan and Florence, Italy 

Organized together with the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the trip included different activities, such as the visit to Lineapelle, where the students learned to distinguish different types of leathers, their features, and applications in the fashion industry.

They also visited the Istituto Marangoni and Polimoda, which have an international reputation for being two of the best fashion schools worldwide. They also learned how to trade fashion in Italy, after visiting La Rinascente, 10 Corso Commo, and Atelier Sangalli,as well as the Damiani jewelry workshops.

In Florence, they attended a leather workshop by Laura Chini and visited the Ferragamo Museum, as well as the Pitti Filati fair, one of the most important knitwear events in the globe.

This type of experiences are a contribution to the professional education of our students. They have new experiences and keep up to date on world trends, highly needed in a major of this kind.
