Amanda García, Paola Penagos, Jimena Figueroa, Magda Liliana Rincón and Pablo de Robina were awarded in this contest thanks to the quality and relevance of their proposals.
On May 8, 2024, the presentation and evaluation of the final works of the XIV Anáhuac Mexico Research Poster Competition took place, a contest that received 256 posters, of which 237 were from undergraduate and graduate students and 19 professors, a contest in which nine institutions from the Regnum Christi International University (RIU) also participated.
On this occasion, thanks to the quality and relevance of their proposals, the work of several postgraduate students from the School of Bioethics stood out. Such is the case of Amanda Elizabeth García Barrera, who won first place with her poster titled “Content validation by expert judgment of a scale for evaluating ethical conduct in research, bioethics and scientific integrity", under the tutelage of Dr. Elvira Llaca García.
Paola Penagos Gómez and Jimena Figueroa Valero obtained sixth place with their poster titled “Use of clinical simulation for the bioethical training of health professionals: A systematic review”, also under the tutelage of Dr. Elvira Llaca.
In eighth place, Magda Liliana Rincón Meléndez was recognized for her poster “Use of ICTx in research into mental health problems: ethical and bioethical reflection”, advised by Dr. María Elizabeth de los Rios Uriarte. For his part, Pablo de Robina Duhart obtained eighth place with his poster titled “Ethical and biolegal regulations in artificial intelligence and biotechnologies”, advised by Dr. Elvira Llaca.
The academic community of the School of Bioethics congratulates its students whose work has been recognized at this prestigious event. This success is a source of pride and a testimony to the positive impact that its members are generating in the academic and scientific community.
