The main objective of this collaboration is to enrich training in Bioethics through the exchange of knowledge and cutting-edge material.
Representatives of the School of Bioethics visited the Pontifical Academy for Life in Piazza San Calisto, Rome, where they spoke with Bishop Vincenzo Paglia with whom they discussed future collaborations and addressed crucial issues to strengthen the relationship between both institutions.
Among others, the dissemination of relevant information on Bioethics through social networks and the exchange of academic material were included with the aim of enriching training in this subject and expanding knowledge of it.
As part of this fruitful exchange of ideas, the Pontifical Academy for Life provided the School of Bioethics of our University with cutting-edge materials in Bioethics, such as the General Member Assemblies on “Virtues in the Ethics of Life”, “Robo-Ethics: Humans, Machines and Health” and “The Joy of Living”, among many other titles that will enrich the curriculum and academic activities of the School, being a significant step in the process of linking with universities internationally and underlines the commitment of both institutions to the promotion and development of Bioethics.
Within the framework of this event, Dr. José Alberto Castilla Barajas, director of the School of Bioethics, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration and highlighted the importance of these joint efforts to expand the impact of Bioethics in the academic and professional field.
Tthis visit highlights an important advance in international cooperation by promoting greater integration and development in the field of Bioethics, since we will also have the presence of Bishop Vincenzo Paglia at the facilities of the Anáhuac University on September 17, 2024, who will give a conference on the challenges of Bioethics in the 21st century.
