During his presentation he reflected on the need to achieve a rigorous ethical and scientific standard in each profession, as well as the impact of social networks on our perception and decision-making.
On July 10, 2024, Dr. José Alberto Castilla Barajas, director of the School of Bioethics, had an outstanding academic visit to the Universidad Católica Querétaro, where he gave the conference titled "The importance of ethics in each of the professions" and addressed fundamental topics for students of various degrees.
Among the highlights included reflections on the need to achieve a rigorous ethical and scientific standard in each profession, as well as the impact of social networks on our perception and decision-making. Additionally, it explored fundamental questions about how internal and external motivators influence professional and personal actions.
At the end of his presentation, Dr. Castilla answered questions from the attendees and generated a space for critical reflection on professional ethics, so his presentation not only served to strengthen the academic knowledge of the students, but also to inspire a commitment renewed with ethical principles in their future careers, thanks to the space for dialogue and reflection they held.
Without a doubt, Dr. Castilla's visit underlines the commitment of the School of Bioethics to collaborate with other institutions and promote comprehensive training that includes solid ethical values as an essential part of the professional development of its students.
