Successful completion of the second meeting of the CADEBI Advisory Council

2nd meeting of the Advisory Council

During the meeting, the progress of the projects developed during the first half of the year was analyzed, highlighting the commitment and cooperation between international members.

 

On September 19, 2024, the Advisory Council of the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI), made up of 22 individuals from seven countries, held its second annual meeting to discuss the progress of the projects developed during the first half of the year.

 

On this occasion, the results of the 12th International Conference on Ethics Education were presented, which saw active participation from several council members, both as speakers and attendees. Additionally, the achievements of the Ibero-American Bioethics Network Observatory (ORIBI) and the Interactive Bioethics Atlas were discussed, and objectives for the next semester were outlined.

A central topic of the meeting was the development of the CADEBI Award for Bioethics Career Achievement, which will be named after Dr. Manuel Velasco Suárez. This award aims to recognize the impact of distinguished professionals in Bioethics at an international level, fostering cooperation between the represented countries.

 

Thanks to this meeting, the CADEBI Advisory Council highlighted the commitment and collaboration among international members to continue promoting projects that globally strengthen Bioethics, as well as analyzing the progress of ongoing initiatives, reaffirming its role as a strategic platform for developing ethical solutions to contemporary challenges.
