Dignitas Infinita is a declaration that, in line with the thoughts of Pope Francis, encourages open dialogue regarding the need to reaffirm human dignity in decision-making spaces in public policies.
On April 12, 2024, Father Rubén Revello, advisor of the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI), participated in the International Seminar Dignitas Infinita, organized by the Catholic University of Argentina in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Social Research (CISAV).
During this seminar, reflection was made on the dignity of all human beings, starting from the new declaration of the dicastery for the doctrine of the faith presented on April 8, 2024, in the Vatican Press Room by His Eminence Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández.
The seminar also aimed to understand the seriousness and centrality of human integrity in Christian thought regarding topics such as poverty, the situation of migrants, war, and other current issues.
In addition to Dr. Revello, various speakers from different parts of the world participated in this event, such as Monsignor Alberto Bochatey from the Argentine Episcopal Conference; Dr. Blanca Castilla from the Complutense University of Madrid, and Dr. Rodrigo Guerra López from the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.
Dignitas Infinita is a declaration that, in line with Pope Francis' thought, promotes open dialogue regarding the need to reaffirm human dignity in decision-making spaces in public policies.
