The Doctor as a Humanist

A total of 20 students from over seven countries participated in this virtual space that seeks to inspire a deep human sense in medical practice and promote international collaboration in research and teaching.

On April 29th, the international association The Doctor as a Humanist concluded its 5th online course, which brought together 20 students from Mexico, Iran, Russia, the United States, Romania, Greece, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

This course focuses on inspiring a deep humanistic sense in medical practice and promoting international collaboration in research and teaching.

The Doctor as a Humanist began its activities in 2017 with Professor Jonathan McFarland, its current president, with the goal of bringing together various health professionals from more than 12 countries, with the collaboration of Sechenov University, Glasgow University, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universidad Anáhuac México, Ioanina University, among others.

Although this edition has come to an end, we invite you to participate in the upcoming international congress, which will take place in Barcelona in October and return soul and heart to medicine.
