Samantha Cervantes and Carlo de la Llata won first and third place, respectively, in the V International Congress of Medicine held at the Universidad Anáhuac Cancun.
During the V International Congress of Medicine, held in October 2024 at the Anahuac University Cancun, the MPSS of the Anahuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI), Carlo de la Llata and Samantha Cervantes, stood out in the Poster Contest, obtaining first place recognitions for their research.
Samantha Cervantes won first place with her work "Preoperative diagnosis of body dysmorphia in plastic surgery: Impact on the quality of service", where she addresses the identification of psychological disorders in cosmetic surgery patients with the aim of improving care and results in the service.
For his part, Carlo de la Llata was awarded third place for his poster entitled "Evaluation of treatments based on neuroplasticity for psychiatric pathologies", a study that explores innovative approaches in the treatment of mental disorders through neuroplasticity.
These awards underscore the contribution and commitment of CADEBI members in medical research and bioethics.
