The Interactive Atlas of Bioethics seeks to consolidate itself as a key tool to facilitate the exchange of information between bioethics institutions in the Ibero-American region.
On December 2 and 4, 2024, the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI) participated in the annual meeting of the State Bioethics Commissions, organized by the National Bioethics Commission (CONBIOÉTICA), a space that included the participation from Dr. Gabriela Pineda Hernández, director of Institutional Development of CONBIOÉTICA, who presented the priority project of the Ibero-American Network Observatory of Bioethics (ORIBI).
Dr. Alejandro Sánchez Guerrero, coordinator of ORIBI, and Dr. David Cerdio Domínguez, coordinator of CADEBI, presented this innovative project, highlighting its objectives and scope before the 32 state commissioners of the country.
The Interactive Atlas of Bioethics seeks to consolidate itself as a key tool to facilitate the exchange of information between bioethics institutions in the Ibero-American region. Its objectives include the promotion of a community committed to human dignity, the promotion of cooperation and the dissemination of good practices in the field of bioethics.
With this project, CADEBI reaffirms its commitment to creating strategic links with academic institutions, federations and organizations external to the Anáhuac University Network (RUA) and the International University Network (RIU).
This way, the ORIBI initiative is positioned as a bridge that connects efforts at the regional level to promote bioethical reflection and action, thus consolidating a community with solid and universal human values.
This effort reinforces CADEBI's mission to promote projects that contribute to the development of bioethics in the region and that promote respect and defense of human dignity at all levels.
