A large group of academics joined this activity in which the 5th edition of the book Introduction to Bioethics was also presented.
Last Thursday, January 19, Anahuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI) participated in the monthly session of the Mexican National Academy of Bioethics where the Vice President, Dr. Francisco Javier Ochoa Carrillo shared a deep reflection regarding the horizons of bioethics in the presentation of the 5th edition of the book Introduction to Bioethics.
Subsequently, the editorial coordinators, Dr. Martha Tarasco Michel and Dr. José Enrique Gómez Álvarez, spoke about the history, the objective of this book and the importance it has had and still has in the field of bioethics in our country.
Also we have the presence of the president of the ANMB, Dr. Samuel Weingerz Mehl; the secretary of said academy and general coordinator of CADEBI, Dr. David Cerdio Domínguez, as well as the current board of directors. Sixty tenured academics also participated in person and through Zoom.
At the end of the session, the attendees shared and celebrated the achievement of the 5th edition of the first bioethics book in the country.
