First International Bioethics Congress

The Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) held its first International Bioethics Congress from September 18th to 20th.

The Anahuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI) participated as a member of the organizing committee of the First International Bioethics Congress "Global Bioethics and Its Impact in the 21st Century", an event organized by the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ). This event provided a space for dialogue and collaboration among prominent figures in Bioethics from various institutions, such as the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights, the National Commission on Bioethics in Cuba, the John Paul II Institute of Bioethics, the Autonomous University of Chile, and Anahuac University in Mexico.

Furthermore, it promoted academic and human reflection on Global Bioethics, Human Rights, and Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue through national and international promotion and collaboration. CADEBI was responsible for creating collaborative networks, strategic project development, and the establishment of a Bioethical culture in our society, in line with its strategic goals.
