BINCA Group collaborates in the work Human Enchancement: philosophical, ethical and bioethical reflections

Human Enchancement

The book is a great leap for Latin America, since, generally, the Anglo-Saxon environment is the one that discusses this topic. Furthermore, it exploits the Techné concept as a tool for human improvement.

On May 15, 2024, the book Human Enchancement: philosophical, ethical and bioethical reflections, was officially published, the result of the collective work of a group of Latin American researchers, including members of the BINCA group (Clinical Bioethics and Anáhuac Neuroethics), which navigates the constant evolution of human thought, the new dilemmas it faces, as well as movements and postures such as transhumanism.

This collaboration is a great leap for Latin America, since, generally, the Anglo-Saxon environment is the one that discusses this issue.

Furthermore, this text exploits the Techné concept as a tool for human improvement and how technology can expand our capabilities. This approach will lead the reader to reflect on whether they really want or should aspire to live more than 120 years.
