He is currently studying the Master of Bioethics online at the Universidad Anáhuac.

He is assigned as a linkage coordinator at the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI) and has been a researcher at the center in Interdisciplinary Research (CII) and a professor of the subject of the Doctorate in Interdisciplinary research at the Universidad Anáhuac México.

He has collaborated as a researcher and advisor in the Inter-American Commission for the Control of Drug Abuse (CICAD) of the Organization of American States (OAS), in the United Nations Organization against Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and in the Cooperation Program between Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union on Drug Policy (COPOLAD)

In public administration, he has worked as director of prevention in Youth Integration Centers and deputy general director of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Addictions (CENADIC) and as a part-time professor at UAM – Iztapalapa.
