The 1st International Congress of Bioethics: Person and Human Dignity was held at the Institute of Higher Studies of Tamaulipas (IEST-Anahuac), on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Representing the Anahuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI), Dr. Antonio Cabrera Cabrera, L.C., director, and Dr. David Cerdio Domínguez, general coordinator, participated.

Mtra. Martha Patricia Hernández Valdez, CADEBI liaison assistant, was appointed as a member of the board of directors in her role as vice president for the period 2024-2026.

On August 7th, Dr. Alberto Carrara, LC, CADEBI advisor, participated in the round table "Neuroethics: 50 years of a philosophical context". This table was in charge of the Neurobioethics Research Group of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and the International Institute of Neurobioethics. The congress is held every 4 years by the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP), within the framework of the World Philosophical Congress 2024, held at La Sapienza University, Rome

Last July, the Juan Pablo II Institute of Bioethics, within the framework of the closing of the Master's Degree in Bioethics of the University of Havana, received in the hands of its director, Dr. René Zamora, and who is a counselor of CADEBI, a special recognition for his significant contribution to training and instruction in values.

On August 21, 2024, the Angeles Metropolitan Hospital hosted the ceremony for the change of the board of directors of the Mexican National Academy of Bioethics (ANMB) for the period 2024-2026, an event that brought together prominent academics and professionals from the health sector. Dr. Patricio Santillán Doherty, National Commissioner, presided over the Solemn Ceremony of the change of Board of Directors.
