As part of its 25th anniversary, Anáhuac University Cancún has taken another step in its commitment to the comprehensive development of its students with the inauguration of the Lions Sports Center, a modern, multifunctional sports dome with capacity for one thousand people.
This new facility, more than just a space for physical activity, represents the Anáhuac University Network's vision of developing positive-action leaders through sports, discipline, and teamwork.
A High-Level Sports Center
The Lions Sports Center will become the official home of the campus's sports teams and will host a variety of disciplines such as volleyball, karate, badminton, judo, basketball, cheerleading, and weightlifting . It will also be a multifunctional gymnasium and a key venue for academic events, awards ceremonies, conferences, and graduation ceremonies .
The rector of Anáhuac University Cancún, Father Jesús Quirce Andrés, LC , highlighted the importance of this project in the development of students:
"It will be a place where dreams will be built, limits will be overcome, and positive action leaders will be forged in an environment of teamwork and perseverance."
For his part, Dr. Bernardo Rangel Sada, Vice-Rector of Comprehensive Training and University Life, stressed the importance of the campus within the Anáhuac educational model, as it will serve as a center for more than 20 sports workshops and 20 different disciplines , benefiting more than 4,000 undergraduate students and 600 master's students.
