The Anáhuac University Network celebrates the presentation of the Anáhuac Medal to Emmanuel , renowned Mexican singer-songwriter, musician, and entrepreneur, at an event held at Anáhuac University Querétaro . This award recognizes his outstanding artistic career, his leadership in Latin music, and his commitment to values such as spirituality, social responsibility, and human dignity.
A recognition of talent and values
The ceremony, presided over by Professor Luis Eduardo Alverde and the rectoral committee, brought together more than 1,000 attendees , including students, faculty, and members of the university community. During the event, Emmanuel received the recognition after a tour of the campus, which included a visit to the university chapel and a moment of prayer with the Blessed Sacrament.
In his speech, the artist spoke about the importance of faith in God, music with a purpose, and the impact of family values on art. "Art isn't for keeping, it's for giving, just like love," he emphasized, underscoring the need to rescue beauty and depth in music.
A legacy that transcends generations
The Anáhuac Medal is awarded to leaders in various fields who reflect the principles of service and commitment to the common good. Previous recipients include Lorena Ochoa, Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández, and María del Rosario Espinoza , among others.
Maestro Luis Alverde closed the ceremony with a phrase that resonated with the audience: "Today the Blue King became the Orange King ," referring to the representative color of Anáhuac and the artist's connection to the university community.
With this recognition, the Anáhuac University Network reaffirms its commitment to values-based leadership and celebrates the careers of those who have positively impacted society.
