The Anáhuac University Network is proud to share the participation of our students in the Collaborative Journalism Workshop, an event that brought together young journalists to strengthen their skills in collaborative journalism and explore new ways of telling stories that impact society.
The Collaborative Journalism Workshop, held in Los Angeles, California, was a unique opportunity for students from the School of Communication at the Universidad Anáhuac Mayab to connect with other young journalism professionals and academics internationally. This was thanks to the alliance with the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Collaborative journalism is one of the most important trends in the current communications industry. It involves collaboration between journalists, media outlets, and often the public, to create more complete, accurate, and relevant content. At the Anáhuac University Network, we recognize the importance of this practice in the training of our students, as it fosters teamwork, creativity, and commitment to the truth.
During the event, they analyzed topics such as the impact of AI on journalism and developed content focused on urban journalism. They also visited the University of Southern California, Wallis Annenberg Hall, as well as the studios of Warner Bros. and Universal Studios.
These aspects are essential in Anáhuac education, where we not only seek to train capable communicators, but also people committed to the well-being of society.
Congratulations to our communication students for their outstanding participation in this international workshop! We are excited to see how they will apply what they have learned to make a difference in the world of journalism.
