Dr. Assia is a consultant liver and intestinal transplant surgeon at King's College Hospital in London. He has written the book "Abdominal Transplantation in Pediatrics" and has numerous publications in the area of pediatric hepatobiliary surgery and pediatric transplants. In addition, he has completed four specialized fellowships and collaborates with foundations in Mexico to support children who require transplants.
